Secure Digital wins Chinese warehouse contract

Secured Digital Applications Inc. has announced its selection by New Alliance Ltd. to install the EyStar Warehouse Management System for a subsidiary company in Fuzhou, China. The contract, valued at $1.76 million, is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2009.


The EyStar system incorporates inventory, shipping, receiving and picking capabilities into one system. It enables queries, reporting and bar code labeling, along with scalable database applications and batched orders management among other features. The system also features RFID/bar code data collection via PDAs. It is compliant with current RFID standards and mandates.

In the new deal, the EyStar system will integrate bar code, RFID and WiFi data collection technologies to track inventory and assets in a 700,000 square foot warehouse complex. [end]
