DAILY RFID unveils jewelry tag

DAILY RFID has announced the launch of their new RFID Jewelry Tag, designed to enable automatic jewelry tracking in retail, wholesale, or secured storage applications.

The new tags enable entire trays of tagged jewelry to be simultaneously scanned into an RFID-enabled system, eliminating the need for individual scanning and increasing staff efficiency. The tags are priced at under $1.20 each.

DAILY RFID is a China-based subsidiary of PAN Group Co Ltd., focusing on development of EPC and RFID technology. [end] 

SMARTRAC to supply RFID inlays for Cairo Metro card

SMARTRAC N.V. has announced its selection as supplier of RFID inlay to the Cairo Metro’s contactless transit card project. SMARTTRAC’s PRELAM inlays will be incorporated by local partner MarsiaCard into finished, branded cards for the Cairo Metro Organization.

The PRELAM inlay is a trademarked product of SMARTRAC incorporating the core element of an RFID smart card and including all required electronic components. The inlays use a proprietary embedding technique that can withstand the further manufacturing and printing processes needed for branded smart cards. [end]
