ThingMagic gets cash injection

Another RFID firm has secured a new round of venture capitol. Developer ThingMagic Inc. announced that it will receive an additional $9.5 million in funding from previous investors, including Tudor Ventures, The Exxel Group, Morningside Technology Ventures and .406 Ventures.

ThingMagic specializes in the development of RFID readers, sensors, and embedded RFID technologies including fixed and embedded RFID readers and antennas, embedded and OEM RFID technology, along with RFID integration services for a wide range of industrial and consumer products. Customers include Ford and Lexmark. [end]
