iDTRONIC launches wristband line

RFID hardware supplier iDTRONIC has introduced three versions of an RFID wristband device designed for a variety of identification needs. The “WRIST-FIT,” the “WRIST-FIT Velcro” and the “Silicone Rubber” are each worn like a wrist watch, and use either 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz technology to uniquely identify the wearer.


iDTRONIC RFID Wristbands are made with flexible but tough materials designed to remain comfortable and functional. They are waterproof, and can withstand the normal wear and tear experienced in active environment, as well as operate in very high- and low-temperature conditions.

The wristbands are intended for use in health clubs, sports facilities, and other leisure environments. Each style of band can be customized with customer logos and serial numbers. [end] 

iDTRONIC introduced its new Wristband Wrist – Fit combining RFID technology with color combinations and a practical ABS material housing.

Roughly the size of a wristwatch, the Wristband Wrist – Fit is available in common low-frequency and high-frequency including Mifare and LEGIC. The wristband is waterproof and sealed with an enhanced PVC inlay and is available in a variety of colors, and offset printing and laser engraving are also possible.

Hong-Kong’s Advanced Card Systems (ACS) has announced the latest addition to its line of LCD-equipped NFC readers for payments and loyalty, the ACR1222L.

Successor to the ACR122L, the new reader is based on 13.56 MHz RFID technology and ISO 18092 NFC standard, and supports ISO 14443 Type A and B Mifare cards in addition to FeliCa and all 4 types of NFC tags, according to ACS.
