JAOtech makes Smart Terminals smarter
JAOtech has announced a hybrid RFID scanner and smart card reader option for its range of medical Smart Terminals. The addition enables the quick identification of medical staff for secure access to clinical records at bedside.
JAOtech already offers smart card readers integrated on the underside of the terminal for the patients’ ease of use in situations involving pre-payment. The new scanner provides medical staff with a separate identification process which does not require the patient to remove their own card from the reader.
JAOtech Smart Terminals are designed for hygienic hospital ward environments, with a sealed construction suitable for deep cleaning with standard hospital detergents.
