Premo has harsh news

Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in News

RFID components maker Premo has announced its new HARSH-TAG-80, a UHF RFID tag encased in plastic which is resistant to dust, flame, vibration, rain and most other problems an industrial or outdoor environment can throw at it.

The tag inside is fully EPC Gen 2 compatible, with 96 bits of free memory. The design is meant to allow high reading performance even over metallic objects, and the tags can be easily mounted to their subject with a variety of fasteners.

The Harsh-Tag-80 is intended for use with reusable plastic containers, wood or metal cages, pallets and Unit Loading Devices, vehicles and tractor-trailers. [end]
