Industry analyst ABI Research has published its picks for the top three producers of ultrahigh frequency and high frequency passive RFID inlays.

For UHF, Alien Technology comes in first, followed by Avery Dennison and UPM Raflatac. For HF, UPM Raflatac takes the lead, followed by TAGSYS and Texas Instruments.

ABI Research makes it picks based on a “Vendor Matrix” it creates for each product class. The matrices consider a variety of criteria within two main categories, innovation and implementation.

The full matrices, which extend the rankings to ten slots, are available for purchase from ABI. For more information on the selection criteria, or to access the full reports, read the full story here[end]
