RFID Update: Nickelodeon Hits The Road

Monday, March 10, 2008 in News

RFID is now allowing for Hertz rental car customers to get Sponge Bob, Dora the Explorer, Jimmy Neutron, and the entire Rugrats team to provide kid-friendly entertainment on road trips, RFID Update reports.

According to the pub, which ran a story earlier today, car customers can get these and other television shows from the Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. networks pre-loaded on a portable media player that can be rented with the vehicle. RFID readers come in by automatically keeping track of media players that are distributed and returned. [end]
