Just in Time For The Holidays: RFID-Aided Bread Factories!

We’re hearing the first rumblings of news that Czech Republic bread maker PENAM is working with a few high-tech highrollers to revamp its warehousing facilities with RFID.

Barco, s.r.o., a barcode and RFID system integrator, and Alfa Plastik, a.s., producer of plastic mouldings, have reportedly developed first Czech RFID crate suitable for deployment in bakery production and warehousing facilitites.

IC-TAG Solutions announced it has earned certification from Alien Technology to use its EPC Gen 2 RFID inlays.

IC TAG utilizes Alien Technology’s EPC Gen 2 Squiggle, Squiglette, and Square inlays in their IC-TAG RFID labels and tags. Alien uses its own proprietary microchip, Higgs 3, to produce its ultra-high frequency RFID tracking devices.
