Psion Teklogix announces the expansion of WORKABOUT Line

In direct response to customers “who continue to need innovative solutions to their data capture requirements,” Psion Teklogix announced the expansion of its range of mobile RFID solutions with the addition of six new RFID readers to the WORKABOUT PRO line of rugged handheld terminals.

These RFID readers support various radio spectrum options including Low Frequency (LF), High Frequency (HF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Passive and UHF Active to address the widest range of RFID applications.

Partnered with other enabling technologies such as laser bar code scanners, imagers, GPS, WiFi and WAN radios, the readers from Psion Teklogix give customers the power to choose the right technology combinations for their applications.

Combined with RFID options for the 7535 and 7530 handheld computers, Psion Teklogix offers the most complete portfolio of RFID-equipped handheld terminals in the industry. RFID-enabled terminals allow customers to significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of their data collection across a wide range of applications. [end] 

Key Source International (KSI) has announced the release of a new line of computer keyboards that offer a number of security input options.

Among the various embedded options for securely authenticating one’s identity in the keyboard, called the KSI-1700, are biometrics, RFID, HID and contactless smart cards as well as technology called SonarLocID, which automatically locks a user’s workstation when they walk away.
