KeyLime Cove Water Resort Gets RFID Boost From PDC

KeyLime Cove Water Resort in Gurnee, Illinois, is the latest fun park to start using Precision Dynamics’ Smart Band RFID wristband

Scheduled to be completed in late February 2008, KeyLime Cove Water Resort will feature 414 Hotel Suites, a 64,500 square foot waterpark and 12,000 square feet of meeting space. PDC’s Smart Band RFID Wristband System will consist of PDC Smart Kiosks (with a touch-screen monitor that allows parents to deposit money into pre-funded children’s accounts by utilizing cash, credit cards or existing room credit), PDC Smart SuperBand Wristbands as well as third-party software and hardware at the venue.

PDC’s Smart Band RFID Wristband System features will be demonstrated at PDC booth 2071 during the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), November 13-16, in Orlando, Florida. [end] 

Hach Company, a manufacturer and distributor of instruments used for testing water quality, has launched its DR 3900 spectrophotometer equipped RFID technology.

The RFID technology allows for hands-free calibration updates. When an operator places a RFID tagged TNTplus chemistry sample, used to test water quality, next to the machine, the DR 3900 automatically updates calibration factors. It also alerts users know if the sample is expired.
