HP’s getting oohs and aahs since unveiling its new RFID system last week.

The system, which includes software and services to facilitate integration with RFID solutions from SAP AG and Microsoft Corp., is intended for for up-to-the-minute supply-chain visibility needs.

The company also announced an RFID innovation lab designed to foster research and adoption of the technology.
