The interest in RFID systems is picking up after a period of inactivity, Douglas Bellin of Cisco Systems (US) told The Star Online reporter Christy Lee in an article posted earlier in the week.

He said RFID suffered from a lot of hype several years ago. “It used to be known as the magic (system) that could do anything but in reality had many limitations.”
