IPICO enters casino market in France by signing exclusive agreement with RFID SYSTEMES

06/25/07] IPICO Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with RFID SYSTEMES for the supply of people tracking solutions to the French casino industry. In terms of this agreement RFID SYSTEMES will integrate the IPICO dual frequency (DF) product range into its complete solution for casinos and provide these integrated solutions on an exclusive basis into the casino industry in France over the next three years. The initial deployment involves 40 Dual Frequency readers and several thousand Dual Frequency VIP Access Cards.

According to this exclusive partnership agreement RFID SYSTEMES will purchase readers and tags from IPICO to a minimum volume of approximately Euro 1.3 million over the next two years. The combined IPICO/RFID SYSTEMES solution provides a break-through into the VIP Access Control market. The first implementation will be in the casino application, providing not only improved security and customer service but also supporting loyalty system benefits for patrons.

“This agreement builds upon other recent successes that IPICO’s DF technology has achieved in the global market for people tracking”, remarked Laurent Cr?mer, Vice President IPICO Europe. “It consolidates IPICO’s position as a leading provider of free-flow people tracking solutions in commercial building facilities”.
