Intermec=Second Quarter Results Exceed Expectations

Don’t grow wary of RFID yet, in light of Alien Tech’s IPO withdrawl.

Other powerhouses in the space are proving the technology worthy.

Like parts/systems manufacturer (and Alien competitor) Intermec, which boasted better-than-expected second-quarter reports.

Intermec, Inc. reported net earnings of $11.3 million, or 18 cents per share. That’s a hefty bit above the Thomas Financial Analyst poll expectations of 11 cents per share, reports the Puget Sound Business Journal[end]
