EPCGlobal Gestures Wildly in China
“EPCGlobal says it has developed a super-high frequency EPC standard that will lower the entry barriers of Chinese companies hoping to use RFID. The standard drops the unit price of each RFID tag from US$0.5 to US$0.08. The code reader also declines to below US$1000. Meanwhile, China is also pressing on making its own RFID standard to protect its information security and enterprises’ interests.”
