“The government will host a workshop on April 6 designed to promote RFID technology. The Commerce Department said Monday (March 28) that the half-day workshop will address the potential of radio-frequency identification technology and its policy implications. Industry, government and academic panels will also cover technology developments, current and future applications along with privacy and security issues.”
